FAQs

If you are coming from Delhi or nearby cities, you can easily reach Haridwar by train or bus. From Haridwar, Rishikesh is just 20 km away, you can take a shared auto, cab, or local bus. Stay in budget hotels, dharamshalas, or hostels in Rishikesh and explore places like Triveni Ghat, Lakshman Jhula, Ganga Aarti, and temples.

Day 1 – Reach Haridwar, attend evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, and visit local temples. Day 2 – Head to Rishikesh, explore Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, and cafes. Day 3 – If interested, try river rafting or visit nearby Neelkanth Mahadev temple before returning.

Book your stay near Tapovan or Shivpuri area. Most adventure activities like river rafting, bungee jumping, and camping start from Shivpuri. Best time is from September to June. Always book from licensed operators for safety.

Take an overnight bus or early morning train to Haridwar. From there, Rishikesh is just 40–45 minutes away. If you’re driving, NH 334 connects directly. Plan at least 2 days so you can attend Ganga Aarti and try adventure activities.

Choose family-friendly stays near Ram Jhula or Muni Ki Reti area. These are peaceful and well connected. Visit Ganga Aarti, temples, and ashrams. Avoid adventure sports if you are with elders or kids, instead focus on spiritual and cultural experiences.

For a family trip, book your flights or trains in advance to save money. Choose family-friendly hotels or homestays near Calangute, Baga, or Candolim for North Goa, or Colva and Palolem for South Goa. Use local taxis or rent a car with driver instead of scooters if you have kids or elders.
