itinerary.
If you’ve ever dreamt of traveling through scenic mountains, crossing high
passes, and seeing the bluest lakes on Earth, Leh Ladakh will steal your heart.
Ladakh is not just a destination — it’s an emotion. The journey itself is as thrilling as the destination, with every turn revealing new landscapes that look straight out of a movie.
7 Days Leh Ladakh Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Local Sightseeing
- Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh.
- Spend the day resting to acclimatize to the high altitude.
- Evening: Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace,
and Main Bazaar for local shopping.
Tip: Drink plenty of water and avoid heavy meals on the first day.
Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley
- Route: Leh → Magnetic Hill → Gurudwara Pathar Sahib → Sangam Point (Indus & Zanskar Confluence).
- Stop for tea at local roadside stalls.
- Return to Leh by evening.
Stay: Leh Hotel or Guesthouse.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
- Distance: 120 km (5-6 hours drive)
- Cross Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads.
- Visit Diskit Monastery and Hundar Sand Dunes.
- Enjoy a camel safari on the Bactrian camels.
Stay: Camp at Nubra Valley under the stars.
Day 4: Nubra Valley to Turtuk (Optional Side Trip)
- Visit Turtuk Village, India’s northernmost village near the Pakistan border.
- Experience Balti culture and warm hospitality.
- Return to Nubra or stay overnight in Turtuk.
Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
- Distance: 160 km (6 hours drive).
- Witness the mesmerizing Pangong Tso Lake, changing colors from turquoise to deep blue.
- Enjoy a peaceful walk along the lake and capture
stunning photos.
Stay: Lakeside camps at Pangong.
Day 6: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass
- Early morning: Catch sunrise over Pangong Lake — a sight you’ll never forget.
- Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (third highest in the world).
- Evening free for café hopping and souvenir shopping.
Day 7: Departure from Leh
- Enjoy your breakfast overlooking the mountains.
- Say goodbye to the “Land of High Passes” with unforgettable memories.

- By Road:
