Hi, I’m Deepak. Recently, I planned a Kedarnath trip from Mumbai with my family, and the first question that came to my mind was – “How much will the Kedarnath trip cost from Mumbai?”

If you are also planning to visit this holy shrine, this blog will give you a clear budget breakdown – including travel, accommodation, food, trekking, and other expenses.

 

1. Travel Options from Mumbai to Kedarnath

Option A: By Train + Road

·         Mumbai to Haridwar by Train: ₹1,000 – ₹2,000 (Sleeper/3AC)

·         Haridwar to Guptkashi by Bus/Shared Taxi: ₹700 – ₹1,200 per person

·         Guptkashi to Sonprayag (base point): ₹100 – ₹150 per person

Total (one-way): ₹1,800 – ₹3,500 approx

Option B: By Flight + Road

·         Mumbai to Dehradun Flight: ₹4,000 – ₹7,000 (one-way, depends on season)

·         Dehradun to Guptkashi Taxi/Bus: ₹1,000 – ₹2,500 per person

·         Guptkashi to Sonprayag: ₹100 – ₹150

·         Avoid peak season (May–June), costs are higher.

The Kedarnath trip budget from Mumbai depends on your travel style. If you go by train and trek, you can complete the yatra in just ₹7,000–₹10,000 per person. If you prefer flights and helicopter services, the cost can go up to ₹25,000–₹30,000.
